T3 how to set up for more grip
Ive just moved from a t2 007 to a t3 .my t2 worked the tyres quite hard they would come of quite warm after a race . the car had loads of grip. but the t3 i set up as the factory rubber setup is quite a handfull . can anyone give me any adjustments that would give more grip .

good tires & wieght balancing goes a long way.
|
Used the exact same tyres on both cars , same additive. same track. only the t3 has the antiroll bars fitted.
|
the weight balance is perfect l / r , 50% f / 50% r

when is it loose (on power or off power) ? droop might be too much. I run on carpet and usally start at 2mm over ride height then tweak from there.
|
The setup book says a lower ride height gives more overall grip. but i thought a few mm higher would allow the car to roll more .

I thought my T3 was planted , needed to take grip away
what surface are you racing on ?? high grip or low ?? |
Off power mostly make sit hard to line up for the corner
