Hey,

Could I make a requst to anyone at the nats?

Can someone snap a pic of Billy Easton's car w/ the body on? I've been wondering if hes still running his "clear windoed Associated RTR" scheme or not since hes running a Yoke now.

1) The folks here are doing a great job, better than most hobby shop staffs. As an example, the driver's stand (which is actually a trailer so they can take it from site to site) is excellent.

2) The club here in Portland also does a great job of publicizing the sport. They actually managed to get a TV news crew here this morning who showed a split screen of one camera following some cars and another one from a helicopter overhead.
Which news crew? Might be able to get to their website and see some video...

I want to wish Greg Hodapp and Brian Kinwald good luck!

I was talking with Greg last night, and he is jazzed about going to this race!

For all who are interested in who is signed up for the races, you can go to www.rc-cars.com and they have a complete sign up list that you can view.

In non-race news, to those who were asking I fixed the R/C Tech home page so it no longer is displaying a bunch of errors. Something crashed last night and when it came back up the script was dead. I also fixed the problems people were having with certain browsers on that page (although there are still many others all over the site that I haven't had a chance to fix).

Controlled practice is underway right now. I still haven't even mounted a body for my car, too much to do. Dunno if I'll hit the track at all! haha

What's the latest anyone will be out at the track? I'm not able to run the race due to some other personal stuff that's come up, but I'd like to come hang after work if anyone is around.
I've been itching to meet some of the big time racers.
