If it's this 3.5 mm chassis you're talking about, it has been available for a short while...

I don't really care. I run my cells the way Cruyl does. The car feels better on carpet with 3 cells jamed up front.

If you guys want to complain about whether or not Alex was using a legal chassis, why don't you complain about the fact that ROAR did not have anybody there who knew the rules well enough to enforce them if there *was* an illegal part being used?

I always find it funny that people want to snidely place the blame on the racers, when the rules are only being partially enforced and everybody knows it. I'm not trying to start ROAR bashing either, just trying to give a different perspective.

futureal is correct......

If tech didn't get it and no one filed a protest. It's done.

Is it right, ???

But, it's done.....

Either way, Alex drove the wheels off it.

Let's wait and see what happens at the stock Nat's this week...

A couple years ago at the the Stock Off-Road Nat's a couple guys from a certain motor campany had a dynamic arm balancer in the pits. T-Rex tried to tell me it was 100% legal to use it.....

I guees so as long as you didn't drill any extra holes.

It really doesnt matter the guy drove his ass off for the last 4 years trying to win it he finally did. shoot half the field had aftermarket chassis!

hey shane someone mentioned that part of the controversy was that mike bruce got dq'd for putting his car down after the race started for unsportsman like conduct!
Its what I heared is this true please let me know because I know mike and he wouldnt do some like that!

DQ'd? I never heard that, I don't think he got DQ'd. The race director refused to wait an additional 5-10 seconds to put his car back on the grid and opted to go without him (and TJ Bradley, who was in a similar situation) instead. So both Michael and TJ's cars were thrown down just after the pack drove by.

If they *were* DQ'd, they should have re-run the race. There were a bunch of questionable things going on, including the fact that they didn't decide to call traffic or penalize rough driving until *after* that main.

how is it unsportsmanlike to not be ready for the race and have to put your car on the track after the start of the race???

i can't see how they could justify DQ'ing him for that

Its kinda funny but Mike is always the guy looking for a minutes grace...backwards running motors, pack not soldered in, pack not charged all the way, etc. Its almost expected in the Florida Series to wait for Mike. That said he shouldn't be DQ'd for starting late...thats a enough of a handicap.

Just to address the issue on Michael Bruce. We gave him 1 full min after we grid'ed and he had problem with the (Soldering backwards I believe?), then after he came out of the pit, then they realized they forgot a wheel nut, and asked for another 10 seconds? If everyone gets an additional min, then how are we ever going to start a race? And that was the full story on that issue. And he was not DQ'ed for unsportsmanlike conduct. WOW, where did you guys got that from? I was at race central all day, that didn't even come up.

As for the rough driving issue, yes we completely spaced it for the first main, we apolgize and we hope those that are here this week realize the manpower we have for this entire event.

As for frequency, yes it was not posted for sabotage reason. And if 90% of pro racer didn't put 1,2,3 on their entries and take the time to come check in with race central for their frequency, we wouldn't have all the frequency conflicts we had all week. At one of the earlier round heats, we had 10 racers, 8 of them all on 27 and all entered in entries as 1,2,3 as frequencies.

And what's a national w/o a little controversy!!! Please don't hype it up without telling the whole story. And there are LOTS more that you guys have no idea about! Should hear the requests we were asked, pretty much asking us to bend over!

Dom

When I order my stock stuff my arms are to be left the way they came aside from truing them... Good luck at Nats and your motor stuff is in the mail as of Friday GET IT DONE!!! Bring us a Nats Title - I tried last year - lol and Trex - lol its trex what can I say
