Some other news:

- as mentioned, no new AE/Losi cars (so stop PMing me about them)
- Corally has a new TC design here, not sure if they want me to photo it, waiting to talk to Rob
- Novak has a production-looking ESC but that's all they will say about it, and no photos yet
- Billy Easton is indeed here, and indeed running a Yokomo
- most of Losi's team is here, as well as AE, Xray, etc. still waiting on a few notables like Lemieux, Hodapp (see above, haha), etc.

I'll keep the info flowing. Obviously no hard data yet as this was just open practice. Lots of VHT being sprayed on the track to keep the grip consistent. The Rose City crew is doing an excellent job, this is shaping up into one of the best ROAR events I've been to.

I'm suprised that is a National level track. It looks like something I would setup in any old parking lot!!!!!!!! I guess I expect a little more for the Nationals.

According to the nationals guidelines the track should be a new layout not run on prior to the race and practice is for 2-4 days before the event. If that is the same layout from last weekend it seems something would be wrong. The "practice" section has the info, page 8

Roar nationals? I would expect something of a higher level cosmetically. It may drive fine, but it seems like at the premiere event, the track should resemble something that everyone who saw it would drool and aspire to. My 2 cents.

Parkinglot tracks are great...as long as they are in an area to attract people to watch.

I guess that's why the Reedy Race, is so unique, everyone gunning it out at Tamiya America, all I got to say is what a "world-class" facility it is.

Well, I hope everyone has a safe trip and good luck to all the competitors!

Actually my Brother lives a few miles away so I get to stay gratas. Just wondered if I could bring my PCMCIA (People Can't Memorize Computer Industry Acronyms) wireless card and have it work in the pits or not. Oh well, that's why I bought the cell modem cable for
