"Regardless of how well it handled or how fast it was...out of the box the F201 was built more like a toy than a race car."

That's where I have the advantage...sometimes. With my false ID I can run in the 7 year old nearsited powder puff class, they give free kittens to the winner even though I have not won a stupid cat yet.
I park faster than most people drive.

We've run the F201 and F103 together. The F201 with a 23T could not match the laptimes of a silvercan F103 on our local track.

I remember reading that write-up once or twice, the following statement is the funniest bit:

A 13-Turn geared at 3.88 spinning the tires! They running on ice or something?? lol

anyone remember this car.

The Kyosho SR-5. i picked one up on ebay for cheap a couple years bacl. mine was the stock car model, but it came with the rear wing mount. it was a great car.

the bad was the "suspension" on the back. but i loved the front upper plate. it really looks like a F1 car with the shell off with that upper reinforcing plastic plate.

here are some picks of mine. now i wish i would have kept it. part support was rough though. i would have to go with a 103 now.

TA05 spec class.
DF03 w/ carbon chassis
DB01R Stock class
2 x GB01 Tamtechs
Custom solid axle SC
