Looking for a electric motor stand???
 
hey guys

just starting to take apart motors and cut comms and rebuild

i am looking for a motor stand that holds the motor verticle to make the rebuild a little easier so i need one less hand

cant find them anywhere

can somebody help me out and tell me where i can find these suckers and post a link

I use the Kose motor stand and turbo fan. The stand holds the motor via velcro for break-ins and has holes to hold the motor vertical when soldering on brushes. I also add the turbo fan which adds a small load during breaking in brushes. Comes in black or blue.

RPM makes one. it can hold a motor vertical or horizontal.

I have an RPM stand and it works fine, but what I use most often is .....

An Ofna sedan foam tire dish wheel... The motor can fits perfect and the recess in the rim is a perfect fit for the non-endbell bearing side...

I bought an 8-pack, hoping to put foams on them, never got around to it... So now they serve as perfect motor holders...

You could even put stickers around them to make them look custom, but hey, let's not go crazy...

So just use an old sedan rim, if the recess for the wheel nut is deep enough, perfect fit...
