Default Best Traction Compound for Carpet

What traction compounds would you guys recommend? For me, Paragon FX II is the easiest for me to get ahold of. But don't know if this is a good compound for carpet use. So any information about this topic would be great!

Thanks

The FXII works great, as does Paragons Ground Effects, despite Paragons claim I still think Ground Effects is stronger. Corally Jack The Gripper is another popular option.

I like Ground Effects and Niftech myself. The Niftech is nice as unlike most compounds it evaporates quickly, which is pretty neat...

I dont race... but I do play around on a couple of the local tracks... what I found is that tracks actually "prefer" in some instances that you run a particular brand as its what they carry and everyone uses... doesnt make it right or wrong... I have both Paragon and Sweep... both seem to work decent...

If your track states you must use odorless, try out the new sxt 3.0.
It works as good as Jack and is cheaper.

Multiple traction compounds combine on the carpet to make a greasy mess then no one has traction. It's best for a track owner to ask the racers what a majority of them use and make that the track/spec compound.

Well I talked to people at the track and Paragon is not allowed as well as anything like it. So if anyone has some other options that would be great.

I have heard this before as well.

The closest carpet track near me allows only Jack the Gripper and it has mad traction if you stay in the groove. The temperature might be a factor though. It's a warm room.

FX works well, as does Niftech, which you can order from their site. Both are considered "odorless" tho I would strongly disagree as I have NEVER found a tire sauce that didn't smell like something.

Generally tracks that run odorless compounds don't really care what they smell like as long as it doesnt smell like wintergreen.

Typically tracks that run "odorless" traction compounds, run Jack the Gripper. Sticky Fingers is the same product and less expensive. We are allowed to run both at my local track.

Default Traction Compound...

I have found the following to work well.

Open Compound Track: Black Can Paragon Hands Down!!!

Odorless Track... Sticky Fingers Works Great!!!

I have used some others but not all, so I will now say these are better than anything else out there, but I have had the best of personal luck with these two.
