Default Spurs

Hi Guys.
What Brands of spurs fit (using the metal spur holder) ??
The Kawada dont fit (I dont wont to have to drill & grind, if possible)

Also, whats the biggest pinion I can use with a 80T spur, & the biggest pinion with a 78T spur, using the std motor holder??

Are the 3Racing spurs strong ?? - Ive just ordered a 78T

Ive a bit of wobble on the fr geardiff outdrive(just one, other side is fine)
Just live with it , or do I need to rebuild the diff ??

Cheers

Xenon spurs fit perfectly and i believe the Kimbrough also.
3racing spurs are ok.
Didn't use them much as i had Xenon spurs lying around here.
Rebuild the gear dif and swap the the outdrives, see if this helps.
If it switches to the other side you have a bend outdrive, if not check the diff housing or the internal gears.

regards Roy

The version 2 is SAK-66/V2/PK and is for the Sakura Zero (not the S). The one you actually want is SAK-S17/PK. The difference is the one for the S, includes the aluminum layshaft/spur gear mount for the opposite side. That piece is already aluminum on the Zero, and thus is not needed.

Dropped the car on the track, box stock, in VTA trim and it ran like a champ. Great car and great investment!

I have read a bunch on pages on this thread and am thinking about picking one up.... I am currently running a cyclone s, the tub chassis one.... I thought I wanted to get the exotek chassis for it and some other hop ups, but for about the same price I could get this brand new car, motor mount and pulleys you guys are saying you need/ want for VTA trim.... I could propably pick up a bunch of spares too.... Are the stock shocks holding up fine? As that's a big gripe I hav woth the ones on my car, and upgrading them is not cheap... I have been looking at the at and parts on rcmart if it matters...

I have had no issues with stock shocks, although the replacements for them are cheap too. Like $28 for the set. And +1 to the service from TQ

I sent an email the other day to inquire about the free shipping on orders of $100 or more but no reply yet.

Hey Steve, another great shop I do alot of business with. www.philshobbyshop.com. Free shipping over $50 but not sure about shipping to Canada. I looked it up and the Sakura seems to be on back order but give them a call or let me know and I'll be glad to call for you. Phil's co-donated along with our club to the VTA Southern Nationals recently.

Sorry for the late response, I just replied your email.

We had big race last Sunday, TQ Winter Series just started.

Sakura Zero S runs great on the carpet.

I checked with Phil's but they don't have any to sell.
