to get 4 fdr the teeth of the gears are too close to the second mounting screw for the motor which makes it all but impossible to properly tighten the motor.
it can be done by removing the spur after you line up the motor with the spur then tightening one screw. but it's time consuming.

G'day,
I've also been looking to buy the Sakura Zero S and I've also been looking at the Tamiya TRF417 touring car and also saw these 2 cars racing together on youtube. I'd rather get the TRF417 since I've already got Tamiya cars but money wise the Sakura wouldn't hurt my wallet as much. The bottom line is quality for me, does anyone have any suggestions? Anyone had any experiences with these 2 cars?
Cheers

TFR417 = $560
Sakura S zero = $109
Big difference. Like saying is this Acura TL going to be the same as my mazda 3.
BUT....
Set up properly, and in the hands of a half way capable driver, the Sakura can lap around a track just as fast as a 417, and be just as reliable. You could have a Sakura S hopped up with a brushless system for the price of a 417 kit.

I would say the TRF 417 is of better quality, but really why wouldn't it be?

One of the best values in a sedan today.
