Hi Zero S Peeps. I've done a quick google, and a bit a look though here, and I'm sure you've already covered it somewhere. But a mate of mine has just started in RC and picked up one of these kits, but is having trouble fitting bodies on the rear posts. the posts come up through the wing mounts. Any tips on how to avoid it?

Switch the rear post mounts to the opposite side of the shock tower and/or cut the posts down to size.
For the old Protoform Mazda6 body, I had to do both.
My car is the red/white/blue one in this picture. You can see the rear posts right under the rear spoiler.

Thanks for the reply, I'll look at his car next time I see him and check his post mounting, but I think he already has them on the front of the tower, and the body is a Blitz, at the moment the posts come up through the wing mounting posts...

I have broke 2 a arms
2 c hubs
1 front upright
1 front suspension mount
and stripped the steering mechanism
in 6 months of racing.

So far Ive also replaced with aluminum parts mostly because I just wanted too:
both front susp mounts,
rear susp mounts
rear bulkhead
steering mech

Ive kept the stock shocks, they work ok in VTA, and I havent changed any of my set up since June.

Lol....Stop hitting everything then.
It will keep the costs down
I have run the Sakura Zero for about 9 months and just broke one steering knuckle and stripped a rear belt, that's it.
This was due to low temps(about 10 degrees celcius) and some one hitting me at full steering lock

regards Roy

its funny that the top VTA drivers at my track run Xray 's. Most will tell me that getting the Zero is a bad Idea and you wouldn't be able to compete with them. Now to be honest , this is my first Touring car and Im having a hard time with the idea of spending $500 on a VTA car.

How do most of you fare at youR respected tracks compared to the other brands in VTA and USGT?

What is a good starting point for VTA. Gearing, car setup and recommended after market parts.
