My sakura should arrive tomorrow, what FDR should I run if I am to use a 10.5T no timing? My club currently runs mostly indoor on smooth concrete floor.

There seems to be 2 types of vertical motor mount available, do both need sanding of upper deck or graphite upper deck?
Also one of the vertical motor mount says version 2 and looks to have one less part, why? whats the best one to get?
And is the alum purple spur gear holder going to give me more spurs that will fit?
please help

The VII is for the Sakura Zero without the S
Or if you have the narrow lipo chassis you can use that one.
The other is for the Sakura Zero-S with the stock chassis.
If you have the Zero(without the S) upper deck you don't need to sand anything.
Alu spur gear adaptor helps eliminate any wobble you get with the plastic spur gear holder and you don't strip thread as you do in the plastic one.
Also you don't have to widen the spur gear holes to make it fit.

It looks like the V2 mount (SAK66v2) for the regular Sakura only has the motormount/left side spur holder + top mount
The extra bit in the Sakura S mount (SAKS17) is the right side spur holder thingy.
Dont know what the diff between the actual motormount is...

Thanks heaps guys, also is the optional white 20t centre pulley needed if upgrading from the standard Zero S spur holder/pulley, as the alum spur holder doesnt have a pulley on it as with the stock S one does.
Is there anything else i will need to run the alum spur holder on the Sakura S Zero, shaft the same etc?

The spacers don't come in the Zero S. Not sure if other washer sizes would work. I am going to put them on today.

Pro10noob... Do you think its worth upgrading to the aluminum bulkheads on the ZeroS? Its the only hopup I have not done. Just not sure what it would help improve, other than looks.

Don't go for the 20 teeth.
Take the 19 teeth as this will give you a IDR of 2.
This is much easier if you need to run a precalculated FDR.
It will free up your drive train a lot when you use the alu gear adaptor with the 19 teeth pulley.
This results in a smoother running car and less drag on the drivetrain and motor.

you can also use 37T pulleys from a 416/7 diff, or the sakura gear diff. i've found that both reductions are required to get the diffs back to the neutral position, so that the diff height adjustment is more pronounced.

Hi, I've ordered a Sakura Zero S and a Ezrun combo with a 9t 4300kv motor. It's hard to get info about this kit in Europe, so I'm looking for your help. Can somebody tell me the FDR i should use with it. And by the way parts I should buy to make it run.
Thx
