I run a spool in front and 2000wt in the rear. If you run a gear diff in front, you might try 300,000wt or higher to make it almost spool-like.

3Racing sell the parts needed so you will need to buy several items. For some reason they do not sell a complete spool.

If you want a front spool, you need to purchase three separate items to assemble one.
  • SAK-02 - 38T white pulley
  • SAK-09 - Solid Axle Outer Joint (2)
  • SAK-08/PK - Front Solid Axle

No, I no longer have a Sakura sedan. I currently run a Schumacher Mi5, Spec-R R1, and a Tamiya TB-03.

Looks like part SAK-44 is discontinued. Can I use SAK-U105 instead?

Yes they do. The rear ones will also work, though you need spacers if you want to mount the same rear body holes.

Yes. I use the ultimate knuckles on the zero. They are a direct replacement. The c-hubs and arms also work. If you use ultimate/xi arms, you will need to change how the front swaybar is mounted (very easy).

Ah thanks for that, I had also heard that xray & arc knuckles fitted on the zero.
What exactly needs to be changed for the swaybar if the ultimate/xi arms are fitted?

Cheers
Rob.

I have the basic Zero kit modified to accept the vertical motor mount. The new lipo battery I just bought will not fit under the upperdeck. Does Sakura make a battery mount system that will allow the battery to be mounted further away from the center line, or will I have to fashion something myself to solve the problem. Shimming the upperdeck is not a possibility due to interference with the vertical motor mount.

Whereas the Zero arms have a ball that connects to the ballcup link of the swaybar, the Ultimate/Xi arms have a hole that connects to the ball end link of the swaybar.

Easy fix is to replace one ballcup of the swaybar with a ball end. So instead of having a connecting piece that is a pair of connected ballcups, it will be ballcup on the end connected to swaybar and ball end on the other end connected to arm.

You'll have to cut/trim the existing battery mount. I will try and post a photo tomorrow.
