Box stock zero s from what I can tell, has no hopups on it. Honestly if they want more than say $175. for the whole setup pass it by cause it looks well used and would cost you more in the long run. If you intend to race with it the electronics in it would have to be replaced. No one uses that setup around here.

Thanks a lot
Not worth worrying about. Just go to hobbyking and buy all you need for around 250 for the lot. Car $70,esc $30,motor $37,radio gear $40,battery $30, charger $30. If your gonna buy cheap gear, might as well get new cheap gear.

Don't gorget the $60 charge for shipping... here's what id do if I could do it over...buy the kit from tqracing or some other in the USA distrubuter and buy electronics from HK...it seems smaller packages get to the USA quicker from china and you be able to start building the kit while your waiting...for the few dollars up or down in shipping cost I could already be building my kit.... instead my package is in limbo somwwhere and it has already been over a week since I ordered from HK...I'm expecting to be waiting for at least another week or two before I get my stuff... Thank you .

Default Vertical motor mount issue

I picked up a car that has the vertical motor mount installed, and access to the lower motor mount screw is a little difficult. Do you guys shave down the battery stays to get better access to it?

I drilled a hole through it so I can use a long shaft driver perfectly straight. Any weird angles with the driver on the screw head might strip the screw and that's not something I want in that tiny space.

Thanks. I'll try that. I've been removing the battery stays whenever i needed to get to that screw but that gets tedious after a while.

Turnigy TD10

Is this a clone, or an actual re-licenced Zero S made in the 3Racing factory?

Not a clone, just rebranded by Hobbyking as there car.
3racing still makes them but now for Hobbyking.
This because they now sell the XI sport as there entry level car.

Hmmm. That's interesting. I wonder how parts will be then since the Turnigy TD10 is just a rebranded version of the Zero S.
