Thanks Wollow, I'll let you know how it goes

I ran that setup on the weekend and the car felt really balanced, with just a touch more turn in.

My NanoTech 5800 fits, so a 5000 should be no problem since it should be the same size.

I run the turnigy 5000 roar approved hard case one, I'll assume that's the one you mean, and it's fine.

The hi-torque servo saver is really good. The stock one in the kit will probably be better than the TT01e one.

I would go for speed and centering ability in a servo. these cars are light enough where a standard torque servo will work great. Watch the weight of the servo. typically the zero is left side heavy. A lighter servo will make things easier to balance.

Speaking from experience, I'd say don't use the stock Sakura S servo saver.. it's crap.

Either get the Tamiya high torque or the Xray composite stiff set. The stock TT01E servo saver will work too as long as you still have the proper servo arm adapter for your brand of servo.

I put the sakura servo saver in my sons TT01, it's not an E or an R or a D version just the straight TT01. I wasn't a fan of the standard servo saver in the kit. lol

But the Tamiya hi torque one is the go.
