Default GFX Mods

Well, I was going to put this in the painting section, but figured everyone puts anything that has to do with electric racing, and even more on this section, so I figured I would too. That and more electric guys will see this in here, than in the painting section. I also want to see others who have messed with theirs. None of that getting someone to paint it for you. I want to see mods that you have done your self. Me, I soldered in the blue fan, cut the window, and modded the front so that the wires come through the front instead of the side.'

It is still a work in progress. I plan to install a bendable cold cathode, and then some time, make a completely new case for it, all clear acrylic, and big enough for fit the electronics from my two 16x5v6 chargers in there also.

Thats sweet. I forgot who it is, but another guy (I remember he is fukuyama sponsored) did a similar mod to his GFX. But anyways, what is the Bendable Cold Cathode? I have heard of cold cathode fans, and they just glow under black light (correct me if I'm wrong).

The only mod I have done to my charger is putting a green LED fan in the back.

Lol, well from my computer modding knowledge, lol. Um, a cold cathode, is basically a 6-18 inch (variable sizes to buy in) plastic surrounded light, it is very bright, and lasts for ever, used no amp draw, and can stay on and makes no heat. Yes, they do have cold cathode fans, and that is just a smaller version of a regular cathode, bent around a fan. a bendable cold cathode enables you to basically run a piece of string where ever you want, and what ever pattern you want, but it is lighted.

Really?, I would like to see that guys gfx and compare.
