Advice needed...TA-05 vs JRXS Type R
I need a little help and advice.
I just bought a brand new TA05 (not the version 2) with TRF shocks. I've raced this car once 2 qualifiers and a main. Nice car and its brand new. All stock minus the shocks. I plan on racing carpet this winter and out doors in spring/summer.
Now that Losi has dropped the price on the Type R, I'd really like to get one.
So I'm kinda stuck should I upgrade my tamiya, buy some extra parts and be happy with it or sell it buy the Type R.
Parts will be easier to get for the Losi aswell....
Any feedback will be appreciated
Thanks

I consider the TA05 an intermediate, and the Losi an full blown race car. I've had both personally. The TA is a great, well mannered car. I loved learning to drive rubber tires with it. However, the Losi is a lot more out on the edge and has a greater overall potential and muuuch closer to being dialed in without buying a whole shload of blue aluminum parts.

Thanks for the reply sportpak,
I'll more than likely buy the Losi, I've always wanted to try out that car.
I just cant argue with the new price tag ($189.00 at my LHS). Your right though I'll have to put at least that much in the Tamiya.
If anyone has any other input or advice please post

Prices' right, parts available, ready to race, why not.

The JRXS is a much better car than the TA05. If parts support is not an issue, get the losi for sure. In order to make the TA05 semi-competitive, be prepared to spend a lot of money on it.

No question, you have to choose the JRXS.
