Best Stock motor

Hi all,

I am getting equipment togeather for our State Chanpionships coming up towards the end of the year, and will be running in the Stock class.

The track it will be run on is a large 1/5th scale track, that is around 300 meters long. Huge for 1/10th scales!

Which stock motors are generally good on a long fast track? Would I need something with more RPM or Torque? Is there any model or brand of motor that really shines on a track such as this?

I am going to buy a few of these motors once the titles come up, plus the usual comm lathe etc etc...

Go with a EPIC based Monster stock. Any brand as they are all the same. Race Prep and Trinity are the safest ones as i have never seen them (except for one trinity motor) have the segments come off from over balancing of the motor.

I agree, any brand (properly tuned) monster will be the way to go for a big long track......

Trinty Green Machine 3 or the monster stock. But I'd say the GM3 would shine on a track that large.

 What are the FDR's that these motors like to run in? Name as many as you can.
