Default Just gettng back into it, Sedan or WGT?

I am looking to get into electric road racing, I already have spektrum RX/TX and Lipo charger so trying to figure out what would be the easiest to setup, cheapest to maintain class to run

I have heard about WGT lately and wondering f there are any benefits to racing WGT compared to Sedan

WGT would by far be less expensive. But, what's the popular classes that run locally in your area?

it all comes down to what's racing at your local track. I enjoy wgt but we are struggling to get the class going here. As far as sedan racing goes, vta is popular most places and is by far the least expensive form of sedan racing in maintenance costs.

Get a WGT if they race them in your area. Less expensive - easier to maintain and more fun because you are not working on the thing all the time. It's simple and old school and more fun!
