With my GTP2e when I tried 8mm ride height.
The front bumper would hit the track off throttle, the bumper hangs down 4mm below the chassis, that leaves only 4mm front RH ????
The stock front springs and oil must be to soft ????
12mm from the bottom of the chassis (8mm from front bumper) is as low as I can go.
To get 4mm lower RH what should I change ????

The track I race on has some bumps and dips but not bad.

SNR chassis uses the dm1 bumper so it's flush to the bottom,which give you more clearence, I went the cheap route and sanded the bottom my bumper to make it thinner-half the thickness- recounter sunk the screw holes and it's all good, you'll need a 90 degree counter sink to redo the holes, not 82,I'm gonna mod the bumper and put it under the front section of the front diff housing.

Any of you guys had any trouble with the foams in the stock tires bunching up? I've got a few tires that have that problem and just had to rebalance them, but that doesn't fix the fact that the shape isn't uniform all around. When I glued the tires I used both sets of foam. I glued the small one to the wheel and packed the larger one into the tire. Not sure if I did something wrong or if it's a common issue.

Most of us run other tires then the stock ones. Even the kyosho stock tire do that. Most of the guys are running sweeps or pmt's

Cool thanks Mark... I'll check into those. I'd hoped I wouldn't have to blow money on new tires right away. In the meantime here's my finished product. First on-road car I've done. Kind of butchered the fenders and the scheme isn't the most hardcore lol, but I like it.

Can the DM1 front bumper be fitted to the GTP2e chassis?

With some diy ,yes, or the SNR carbon chassis.
If your running stock sway bar up front , you need to make a extension plate that goes under the lower pin mount, then I would suggest you brace it somewhere to the front shock tower or diff housing,I run blade type sway bars so, it's gonna be a bit tricker for me to do.

Anyone out there run this => Speed Passion Silver Arrow V2.0 1/8th Scale Brushless ESC/Motor Combo (2200kV)?

I was getting ready to pull the trigger on the Tekin RX8 with 2050 motor to put in the GTP2e I bought today, but then I found the above.... The SP combo is HALF that of the Tekin combo - $150 vs. $300.

I know the Tekin probably has infinite adjust-ability with the Hotwire, but for the price is the simple SP any good?

Be careful running 6s with that motor/ would hate to see the motor get burned up. I believe the highest recommended is 4s.
