I'm sorely tempted to get one of these things. How much space do you guys need to really get them up to speed?
Just imagine a mall parking lot......I find that to be the best place to go full speed. It's always a great attention getter.

Man I am diggin this body Wwwwway more then I anticipated. I really like the way it all turned out.

Here are the final shots before its maiden tomorrow. Its so friggin big its awesome. I tuned it on the carpet inside tonight and it just glides....good stuff.

You know how hard it is to make the wheel wells perfect on a closed wheel on-road car. I have messed many bodies up, but this one came out flawless.

spent some time on the wing decal...

Here you can see the front bumper needs to be trimmed a bit as it is pushing the front out and up a little.

Looks great!!!! The color has a certain glow to it. What color is that?? It will definitely stick out in a crowd of those.

Just shave the front bumper some and it will allow the lid to sit perfectly.

Just trying to get my GTP2 upto speed running on a parking lot track using sugar water (soda pop).

Using bone stock tires. Like the feel of the front axel locked as I run spool in touring car. Please find my setup below.

front shocks 70 wt. (losi)
rear shocks 50 wt. (losi)
white spring front (ofn40752)
red spring rear (ofn40751)
front camber 1 degrees
rear camber 2 degrees
front toe +1 out
rear toe -2.5
roll center inside upper front and rear
100,000 front diff.
30,000 rear diff.
7mm ride ht frnt.
8mm ride ht rear
front sway bar almost 90degrees
no sway bar rear

If nothing seems to far out of wack with my car setup. Should I just focus on tires and finding a good traction compound?

Your setup looks pretty good to me, the only thing I have different is I front is lower than my rear and you need to get Sweeps 45 tires. IGT Hobbies carries them and they offer no shipping. You can't beat that!!!!!

I would also invest in a set of PMT tires. 20s for the front and 10s for the rear. FG Supply carries them.

I guess it all depends on your driving skills. I haven't broken anything and I'm a pretty bad driver. I did bend the Tekno chassis once early on but since then it's been a rock solid rig.

I would recommend the following upgrade if it's available for the GTP2e:

Lower Control Arm Pin Holder (I'm not sure if this fits the GTP2E). You would need 4 of them.

Could anyone do me a big favor and measure the front and rear shocks from the GTP2e? Thanks in advance for any help.

I have the GTP2e in stock as well. I am getting ready to offer a combo package for these. Watch for it to appear shortly on the front page.
