Hello Jspeed,

I'm very interested in the new tire coming out. I've run ipanemas in the past and although they worked great, I found the wheels to be very fragile.

I was wondering if the compound for the plastic has been changed for the ipanema wheels? (regular and the upcomiing wide wheel)

I'd love to test the new wider wheels, but am concerned about the durability. Thanks!

We’ve updated our wheels with reinforcements to increase nylon durability. Unless you enjoy testing the structural integrity of track barriers, pipes, curbs or other immovable objects you’ll have no problems with our racing products.

They’ve been tested & proven during the 45 minute GT Open class A Main at the 2010 GT World Championships and also during the 2010 USGT Nationals in both 45 minute Spec & Open class GT A Mains without any issues; having won all of those events too.

Thanks!

I've got 9mm front and 11mm rear. Your shocks can be adjusted to either raise or lower your ride height. That's what I have but others may be different. It all varies on your preference and what works for your based on your tires and suspension in regards to springs used and oil weights. Good Luck!

Wow!! Are you running that gearing, 47/28 because of your motor kv?? I'm running Tekin 2250kv at 16/48 powered by a MaxAmps 6500 4S. I can see going any higher, this thing is stupid fast as it is, than again I'm a rookie at this.

Well speed and the 2250 motor is mentioned, which is the truggy motor. That motor can pull some tall gearing. I ran the Plettenberg BigMaxximum which is 2300kv on the 47/28 gearing on 4s. Currently running a 1515 2700kv motor on the same gearing and 4s. I'll find a way to fit the 30T pinion on my motor mount.

I just received 2 more 4s Acepow lipos, the new 50Hz Eagletree logger, Eagletree 10hz GPS receiver for my 4s 100mph quest.

There's no "touring" when dealing with these big boys. The speed is awesome!!!! These are collectively called GT8's.

In my Ofna GTP2e i have a problem, i need buy some springs more hard, the original springs are soft , in the track my car is losing time because is necessary a car more hard , i ordered the parts , but until i receive , i'm using the shocks of my Kyosho GT2 , and it's working very good , my car was very fast in the track.
I changed the original pinion because is too short , now my car are bringing "troubles" to 1/8 GT gas powered , this is very good!
