Congrats on getting your car. As far as if those are the ones tower carries, I have no idea. I just went to my local gas station and got tire sticky weights. In the second pic you can see how I dremelled a cubby hole in the foam to fit right over the weights. You'd never know they were there if you we're to look at the car cause the foam covered it perfectly. Do yourself a favor and just order the GRP wheels right away if you plan on doing any speed runs. I blew my ofna tires off the rim in minutes.

Battery Recommendation
Hi;
I am running an GTP2e on a 5 - 8 minutes per heat on road track. I was using two 7.4 30C 5000mah connected by a Castle Creations Y connector. The batteries were fairly used on a 1/10 brushed TC3, but on my second heat on my Ofna one of the batteries "puffed". Is it due to the connection type? I am searching for the appropriate 14.8 pack to buy. I need it to last up to 8 minutes watching temperature so I think over 35C will not be an option. We run on very hot conditions.
ESC: Mamba Monster
Mot: 2,200
Thanks in advance

You may have taken the battery down too far in voltage

I wouldnt think the y splitter wouldnt cause that , but you never know . How thick is the wiring on the batteries compared to the splitter . Since you ran them and they were used before they might have just been its time . Did you have any accidents , how much did it puff ?? pics??

Got my oval car up and running. Any of you guys that have converted these to on road, any setup insight?
Not really interested in high speed runs, but actual racing.
Its running a Track Star 6 pole 2650 and Track Star 120a ESC and will never see more than 4 cell. It's geared at 18/51
Suspension wise, it really just feels like it might need a softer rear spring. Will make some laps tonight and see what it's doing.
Mocked up with a Blitz body. I'm either doing a truck or buggy body, haven't decided yet....
Hard to deny how good that looks to me... Redcat Racing makes an 1/8 scale truck that has a 325mm wheel base and is 305mm wide. Prolly my best option for the truck body unless anyone else knows differently.

Already broke the front diff housing/hinge pin holders... Ahh the perils of racing on an old go cart track...

Take a peek at the specs on the Associated SC8. i run one on my ERBE-gt. Might be able to finesse the wheel wells to work.
Might be a touch too long though.
*** no way will it fit. tried it once i got home. Not a chance. Forget i ever mentioned it ****
