TC3 with an FDR of 4.5
Does anyone have any experience on how to get a TC3 to a 4.5 FDR?
Our LHS track has an FDR rule of 4.5. It's a small 70x40 carpet track, and the owner wants to keep the speeds down. There are a couple guys running TC3's who stay it's impossible to fit 4.5 gearing into that chassis. I have no experience with the car so I thought I'd see if anyone here has ever done it.
Right now I think they are running in the 4.3 area with a tiny spur and large pinion.

55 tooth spur with 30 or 31 tooth pinion. Robinson Racing makes some great gears. You mite have to trim a little off the chassis to fit the pinion but no big deal.

65/36 should work fine, too.
Now I have to figure out how to quickly tech FDR at the track......
