Those are very small bodies compaired to GT8 bodies.

There is a movement in the Midwest back to the retro 1/8th nitro pan cars. Those are probably the cars that would use vintage Parma lids. Locally our club has around 6-8 retro pan cars. PM me for more info as we are off topic.

The LX-2 and the GTP-2 are Ultra based models so the differentials will interchange.

I just picked up one of these cars for $189 shipped from Tower. I already had a Mamba 2200 system sitting in my garage, So now I have a new speed run car. I read through about 20 of the 98 pages of this thread But I haven't read much about the diffs. How do they hold up to brushless power? Are they pretty good from the factory or do I need to take them apart and shim them?
Thanks!

I have yet to have diffs or any issues with it out the box . just make sure everythings tightened down , check the set screws on the dogbones front and rear and on axles .. and you should be straight .

if you goin from speed runs theres a gear you can buy to b able to change up since these are kind of gearing limited

You need the revo spur adapter from RC monster to run the 38T spurs....

About 35 bucks shipped + spurs.

The RCMonster adaptor arrived yesterday and I have lots of pinions soI'm good for gearing. I just wasn't sure how durable the diffs were out of the box.

I just finished putting it all together today and now I'm ready for some straight line runs! Here are some pics.

You're right. I went to the Ofna site and noticed their 2WD short course looks like a TeamC truck too. Maybe Ofna is the new distributor since HPI has taken over with Hobao.
