go on ebay look at all the choices Boca Bearings gives for Ultra GTP. I put an econo set into a restoration and even the cheap ones made the car feel like new.

Hey guys. Today was my first run with the gtp2e in hot weather. I am running a MMM 2200 IV 51/18. Batteries are 4s 5800 35c. I had good get up an go for about 7 mins then it would run slower. I pulled over and has a motor temp if 170, esc temp of 125 and lipo temp of 150. These seem to high for me. Any suggestions on set up would be great

Motor and esc temp ok lipo a bit warm. 7 minutes is all that we race being hard into the throttle and voltage level. Your gearing is pretty short for those temps. I run an EDF fan on motor/esc with a 47/23 Tekin 2250KV set up. Track temps were 130 at times last summer. Straight speed ~ 55mph. I think you must have too much timing, some sort of drivetrain drag or a hardware issue. That gearing/KV should be much cooler and a straight speed ~40mph.

Ok so i have my DM-One Spec E bumper kit now. Is it possible to transfer a good chunk of the GTP2e parts to a DM-One chassis? Or are they totally different, not a chance of transferring the GTP2e front and back halfs over?

Everything is different, spacing for diff cases, even the center diff/spool has different spacing then the dm1

That's kind of what i discovered once i got unlazy and started comparing parts lists.

I have a decent tax refund coming this year, maybe i'll pick up a DM-one Spec-E in addition to my GTP2e

If you call ofna, tel them what car you have and what parts by part number you want to run, they have a capatbility chart. (i called them about a 9.5 buggy) noticed another buggy uses the same, but then realized that buggy, and another une use a same set of parts. called ofna they checked their chart to say if it will work or not.

i was asking becuase i was thinking of just transferring all the GTP2e parts to a DM-one Spec E chassis and using the DM1 bumper/diffuser. (as an option to fabricating up some brackets for them).

Looks like the SNR chassis is my only "just bolt it on" option.
