What are our options for spur gears on these. Or is everything pretty much based off XX/51 gearing?

There is the 47T Ofna spur #40247. Then there is the RC-Monster 46T Delrin spur and adapter. I have both.

Ya, they are almost to bright to look at, they do light up around 5 to 10feet in front of the car. 12v 3s lipo makes them pretty bright! I was thinking about buying another body just to thrash! Everyone really likes them!

Very nice run.

If you don't mind me asking what kv spur pinion are you running.
I see that you have blown the tire, I know how it feels. Glad you didn't crash. One lucky run

That body looks very similar to my Ofna DM-1 Spec E car. Looks good without the wing also. I wonder if the 95mph was with/wo the wing?. Thanks,Huck

Got a question for you guys, How do your bodies line up with the bottom of the chassis, do you run the shell even with the chassis or do you let the sides drop lower than the bottom of the chassis itself?

Finally got the new bumper installed on the GTP2e and the new Viper body i have for it is taller on the sides if you will than the PF8gt it came with. and I'm seeing a bit of fender rub on the rears on compression. Will raising the body up a notch or 2 effect the handling at all?

Also generally speaking what sort of ride height are you running on the GTP2e? Mine seems high compared to some pictures i have seen but that not a terrible thing as I'm not on the track and the extra bit of clearance helps for the small rocks and crap on the road/parking lots etc..

Got my RC-Monster center differential installed today too. have it at 19/46 right now. Puts me around 60mph on the calculator. Plenty fast for me

Usually I setup my body even with the top of the front plastic bumper so it takes the beating from rocks/debris. Sides are even to above the side of the chassis as the body will scrub on 180s. Most of the body mods will make the car handle worse at 40-60mph (track speeds).

Would only recommend the extra body mods if you are planning on doing speed runs 80mph plus.

12-13mm front and rear. If you are having problems with traction rolling on "high grip" then consider lowering down.

Lowest I have used is 8mm but you need to shim up the center diff from the chassis to maintain the arm angle (dog bones level) at ride height. You need to perform the dm-1 front bumper mod on the car as the gtp2e bumper will rub and act as a bump stop limiting suspension travel.

yeah i definitely notice the front bumper scrubbing. it will act as a skid plate of course but it certainly limits some suspension travel sticking down a good 1/4"
or so. What is involved in the DM1 bumper mod?

Here's some pics of how it is sitting right now. The body is just under level with the chassis, i have a bit of room to trim if needed.
