Rear shocks are much to long to fit on the front and maintain your ride height low enough.

Just turn the bottom shock holder out 2-3mm is all that is needed to make the stiffer dm-1 springs easier to install.

I was able to get DM-1 front and rear springs at my LHS today. The front springs fit, the GTP 2-E front shocks, just fine. You have to adjust the nut 2-3mm like you said. The DM-1 rear springs are too short to fit the shock bodies on the GTP 2-e. The adjustment nut will not adjust anymore and you have to much play in the spring.

Any other ideas?

I can't see needing to boost, those rigs are damn fast already as it is. Also, if you using a RX8 ESC, there is no boost option, only timing.

Tekin RX8 2250Kv
Hitec HS-7945TH or KO Propo RSX
RC Monster Mod 1 pinion
Sweep EXP - I got the preglued on 6ix packs and they are amazing.

I have been running this with a Reedy #626 4S 5500Mah 65C, and I also have a Thunder Power G6 6S 3850Mah (Only for a Top Speed run) that I am waiting to try once I get the Eagle Tree V4 150A logger and install it.

I heard guys racing with a 1900Kv on 5S so look at that too. Haven't heard a lot from guys with the 2650Kv motor, but I've been out of the loop for some time.

I have a DM-1 Spec Tekno converted
Tekin 2250kv RX8; geared 16/48 (center diff)
I'm using Futaba S9156, slightly overkill but better safe than sorry.
