Hummmm.... I guess you’re not a REAL GT8 RACER unless you’re racing in the shadow of the ALL GREAT JSPEED It’s also funny that YOU (the owner of Ipanema Tires) have to over post about your product. Kind of insecure aren’t we??? Well I for one am sick and tired of it. Why not respect everyone’s choices and treat everyone as REAL GT8 RACERS

I see your using a 2250kv motor in your gtp2e.
What lipo and pinion are you using ???

Also I've been looking for set up sheets with good starting set ups and haven't found anything.
If anybody knows of any please link me to them.

1 more.... Is a center diff something I should get ???

thank you

I am using a 35c 4s 5000mAh lipo
15t pinion with stock 51t spur gear
60wt shock oil all the way around
Ride Height Front 8mm
Ride Height Rear 9mm
Front Diff 30k
Rear Diff 10k
2.8mm Kyosho rear sway bar (tight fit but works great)
Red (Soft) DM1 Springs Front
White (Med) DM1 Springs Rear
Sweep 50s slicks all the way around
Have the SNR carbon graphite shock towers on order and will test what works best once I get it.
As far as the center diff some say get it, some say don’t. if you want it here is the link..
http://www.nitrohouse.com/p10959/DIF...duct_info.html
If you get it I would start with 100,000wt diff fluid
I set my exponential -60% so when I give it throttle it’s not hurting my front and rear diffs and it makes it more manageable on tight tracks.
Also for me I set my push control using the hotwire so that I can roll around corners using the speed and weight of the car to corner. I found that doing that helped with me loosing traction as I cornered because the 2250kv has so much torque.

Well its parking lot racing but we prep the track each weekend and spray it down with grape soda for added traction. It works for us. So I would say Med to High

While it’s easy to see the total hatred in your posts towards Ipanema because of your preferred brand or hobby shop association, our GT race results tell the true story.

The posting of GT racing results, offering race proven products and providing race information to those interested in having fun at our upcoming GT Only events is hardly being insecure.

We’re proud of racer’s accomplishments and honored that they’ve trusted our GT racing products.

We’ve scheduled our US GT National Championships with Mike’s in Texas and hope you’ll race with us too.

See ya at the races!

Mike's is a nice track. I'll be there for sure as a spectator.

I was pulling 1241W under load on Ipanema's yesterday in my GTP. This is about 50 something MPH. My street only supports up to 60mph, as I run out of space.
