If it is not a solid tire it will balloon at 100 mph. Your best bet is foam tires and you need to paint the side walls with CA glue that has the black rubber mixed in to it.
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ughened-CA-1oz

This will keep the side walls from chunking out and knocking them out of balance when you turn around. You will also have to treat the tires with a compound to get them to hook enough and you will have to select a body that will keep it's shape and keep the car on the ground...good luck!!!!!!

I like 80wt losi in the front shocks, 100wt in the rear...10k diff fluid front and rear...make sure sway bars are snug in the holder but not binding. 1 degree of camber all around. Sway bars are the easiest way to get this car turning in a neutral manner. If you expose more bar in the rear, the front will turn in harder. If you expose more in the front it will push. Play with shock angle from there.

I have heard the GRP Rally tires are good for high speed runs. I just got a set of them, and while I haven't run them yet compared to my Ofna belted radials the GRP seem much more firm and solid. The compound is tacky, but overall the tire is very rigid. I can see them holding up to very high speeds with little or no ballooning. I'm not sure if they are belted or not. Might just be a very solid design with lots of rubber, doesn't feel like there is much foam (if any? I got them as premounts and this is my first set). Look forward to running them in the spring, as they look to be a very durable and long-lasting tire.

I also would like to pick up a set of the Sweep EXP belted radials and try those too.

What do the Degree numbers mean for the tires?

Also, do Sweep tires not need foams?

Sure. I know its going to take a lot of trial and error as well as me driving to a remote location. My truggy hits 60mph in no time in front of my house. I'm thinking 80mph should be easy with my buggy. 100mph is another story.

Got all the bodies with pictures for the dm-1spec, ultra gtp, and inferno GT1 loaded. There are now 56 bodies to choose from for them.

Can you tell me if the Kyosho GT1 and GT2 pre painted bodies have holes cut into the windshield area for nitro engine cooling? The bodies look awesome, but for brushless, would like like crap with big holes cut into them.

All clear bodies come uncut

EDIT: whoops, just realized you asked about painted, not clear. i will check, i can't remember if they are or not.

ANSWER: Painted bodies do not have holes in the windows, but does have a small hole in the side for the exhaust.

I am just looking to pick one up for fun and some parking lot speed runs. What do you all think about going cheap and putting a Hobby Wing system in it?
