Got a link to the 47t gear? All the info I can find is that the blazer used a 47t gear in the diffs.
This combo of gearing I am looking for is for high speed runs and drag racing.

part# 40247.

I dragrace with the 51T just fine. Between 2-2.5 seconds in 132 ft.

What pinion do you run with the 51? 6s?

I run a rollout of 1.3-1.4 for dragracing the GTP on 4s or 4s2p A123 and 4000kv motor(currently 18T pinion). 6s is useless for dragracing, unless you dragrace 300ft. I've broken my diffs and diff cases with 10S A123 instant power.

Default just recieved the gtp2e kit with mamba moster 2650 kv

Hey guys, can some one explain how the braking works on this kit, as I ordered the kit, but just realized that there are no breaks.. does that mean that the car breaks using the motor? how effective is that? I received the kit, and put it together, the mamba 2650kv combo, spectrum 6020 servo and the steel spur gear with all 7 different pinions to try them out. Should i break in the motor and if so how? I was reading a bit and heard that breaking with the motor can cause an electric back flow, so people are using capacitors, is anyone using capacitors?..any tips on anything let them flow.. im just gonna use this car at the local parking lot as there are no tracks by where i live..

Most of the GT8 guys are using motor brakes and since you got the MMM 2650kv, you should be able to stop with no problem. There is no breaking-in of electric motors. As far as I'm concerned, it's just "plug and play". I'm sure others will put in their thoughts to your questions and provide additional info but I gotta run. Good Luck and welcome to the GT8s. There's nothing like a big R/C flying down the road. Oh yeah!!!!

Most of us racing GT cars on tracks run the thicker diff fluid up front & thinner out back. Gt racing is tons of fun, hope it helps.

Happy New Years!

All the stock parts for the OFNA vehicles are now on the site. Pics will be added soon. All kits are on the site as well.

INTERNATIONAL guys, the shipping calculator should be working now, but we may still have a few bugs. Please bare with us. If you notice a shipping charge that is way out of wack, email me and I will look into it.

Thanks!

OFNA threaded tires (stock) are okay. You need to go with Sweeps 50s or PMTs 20s front and 10s rear. The PMTs are better suited for warmer weather. That my .02.

I'm no expert but I think you have your diff oils reversed. Hopefully someone will fact check that for you.

Do they balloon? I'm looking for something that can do 100mph.
