The foams make it easy to drive on concrete, not so much on blacktop. Rubber is still the choice for really high speeds.

I lost the center drive shaft that connects the front diff to the center spool. Does anyone know if I can use the same parts off the ultra Lx one? Also lost front diff cup and bearing that it connects to. Thanks.

Looks really good. I'll certainly look you up. What's that at the rear of the car? Rear wing maybe?

Should the tires pattern be going in the same direction. It looks like the rear and front are going in opposite directions....or am I seeing things.

Would like to see the same thing. Really wondering about picking one of these up as a rally car platform, just been out of rc for a bit and spending money on my 1:1 car instead haha

Hello everyone, I was considering getting a ofna Gtp2 and was wondering for those off you who have one, how do you rate it and what's the best motor combo, I have a 2200 cc combo or buy the 2650 cc combo of nitrohouse when I buy the kit? Or stick a lower kv rating tekin in there, what would the difference be? I have the 2200 in a hyper 9e and it's awesome.....

Thanks for the help...

Ps to anyone who has one already, how did you glue the Tyres, I bought a set for my buggy and there so tight on the rims, are the wheels slighty different and did you use those crappy 2 piece foams that came with them???

I don't know about the best motor combo, but I can give you feedback in regards to the Tekin RX8/2650 combo that I run. It's super smooth, efficient and fast. I race with a 4s battery and am very happy with the speed and torque.

The GTP2E is a great car! I would recommend getting a center diff for it if you plan on racing. It makes the car so much easier to drive fast. If you're just bashing around the center spool is a lot of fun.

As far as the kit tires, I used the 2 piece foams. Use Model glue to attach the ends together as it makes mounting them easier. They are my designated bash tires. Or I should say were, as drift sessions with 4s power has demolished them.
