Curious which carbon parts from dm1 will fit the,GtP2? Thought their designs and layout are completely different . I know the dirt oval and gtp2e are interchangeable and with those shock towers u can run the dm1 shocks . Not sure if dm1 shock towers will fit into gtp2 diff housings

You are correct, diffent design they are not interchangeable.

The changes I made on the DM1 has the same result on the GTP.

Sorry for the delay, wasn't watching the thread for a few weeks. Yes the universals in that set work fine, and do not bind.

Got my SC8 RaceTruck body back from paint today.
Gonna look slick on my 360mm chassis GTP2e.

Sneak Peek.

Certainly not a 100mph body. But the one i had on my ERBE-gt handled 55-60mph just fine.

Ill post a couple more once im on the computer.
Body is on the truck. Used some extras as far as a grille decal and headlights and taillights.

No doubt, the paint and theme looks great.

If you did a matching Warrior body you’d have one for show and one to go! Lol

Take care, nice work.

Default Building out my GTP2e Racer

Hi all, been reading a lot, love this forum. I have a GTP2e, Hobbywing 150amp ESC Sensored. I need advice on motors/battery.

My intentions are not to go 140 mph. I used to race 1/8th On Road, Mugen MRx3 and want a motor that has good punch from start, great top end too. I can gear up or down. I'm looking to spend around $80-130 for a motor for now, later I can spend more.

I'm not sure if the motor should be 2200kv or 2650kv, since I'm still fairly new into Electric.

Thanks, links or names of motors would be helpful.

Yea they are pretty similar , I honestly think my castle 2650 is faster then the tekin 2650 but the tekin has a smoother feel to it

Thank you. I went with the Tekin T8 2650kv.

I'm not sure about batteries. What should I run for racing on a track purposes. I hear 5000 mah 4s might work?
