They steering conversion and front shock towers are awsome too. I really hope you get enough interest to build this setup. The carbon chassis combined with the billet bulkheads that ABC just released will turn the Goose into a real Pro looking (and performing) kit.

Well, I clicked on the "notify me" link for the Exotek Goose chassis conversion.

I hope that enough others do, so that Mike will produce it.

Mike, add me to the list who want that chassis. I went to the Exotek site and clicked the notify link too!

Default I signed up for a chassis too!

Mike, I was wondering what you would consider a minimum production run for this chassis.

Would someone be able to measure the width of the diff between the bearing shouders. Think it maybe the same as the Altas Beat.
Cheers Paul

Question to those who have this car:

The bumpers which come on cars like 510, 240z, sunny etc: Are they regular plastic parts which happened to be chromed (like the hpi cup racer), or are they lexan pieces which require painting?

I know it's a silly question. Just wondering if I needed to pick up paint for the bumper...

Hi, Yes they are lexan pieces that you can cut and paint with crome, the body kit also comes with a clear lexan bumper mount where the cromed bumper is mounted.

Sorry, my bad; I thought they came pre-painted. Well at least now you know.

Sweet!

Thanks guys! Any review of this chassis? I've been reading some flattering things about the grid, but not much about the goose.
The chassis design of the goose seems more interesting to me (deciding between the two).

Any input appreciated!

The goose is a fun car, but takes a bit of tuning to get it to run well. I like the rear wheel drive with the rear wheel drive bodies. I wouldnt want to run a front wheel drive chassis with a classic rear wheel drive body.

Hi Brett,

Could you shed some light on the inherit handling characteristics of the car?
I presume bc it's rear motor, it pushes on entry, and oversteers on exit?
How is it on unprepared surfaces? Just curious... (and comparing it to f1 here!)

Hi boro92, comparing both cars are kinda night and day in performance , the Grid is a phenom mini FF, just simply like that , not because I'm with ABC I am really surprised out of the box, it kinda defies some our on road setup norms, going into the apex and exits the grid well composed even in on and off power, and the car tracks straight with no surprises seizure, you can keep a consistent line around the track. For the Goose, its a very smooth finesse hungry car to drive , its like driving a real rear wheel drive car, you have to really calculate your approaches and and exits and find the right power to apply around the apex to get the balance between traction and speed to get your fastest around the apex yeah it a rhythm thing , if you get your rhythm with the goose, its a very relaxing car to drive smooth to the power and off while hitting some hot laps as fast at the other mini's out there.
