Which 17.5 Motor? - Novak Ballistic vs Tekin Redline vs LRP X12
Im in the market to purchase a 17.5 turn motor. Not sure which one to buy.
Its basically between the Novak Ballistic, Tekin Redline, and LRP X12.
Im running a TC5, 6000mah 28c batteries, using a Castle Creations sidewinder ESC (will upgrade later), on an outdoor technical track.
Im interested in which motor you would recommend and why. All three motors are being used at my local track, and i honestly dont know which one is best..

Personally I run the Novak Ballistics and haven't had a problem with them. I haven't quite hit the sweet spot with the timing advance on my MMP (I think it still has more to give) but I can easily keep up with the fastest guys at my track who run Novaks and Tekins mainly.

which ever one happens to have the strongest rotor will be the fastest.

If you use ESC with timing advance, the better the Novak Ballistic, for 0° timing ESC the best is LRP X12.

i was using a Team Epic Duo2 17.5 Without Timing Advance, Ran Really Really fast, Faster Than My novak 13.5ss, I will see how it does on A tekin Rs with advance.

I have had success with the Express Duo 1 but that was for onroad and is open. The Tekin is closed so if for off-road that may be better to keep out dust.
