Build an Kit now, just want to say, I like the Diff alot.. and the center
pully is nice... how the axle go together is much nicer then the 416, I used
the top holder for the front of my 416 but these work better

Has the plastic Drive Cups been revised from the new to the old car (do the old ones still fit)?

Just got mine together.. man, this is one sweet kit.

Was able to jam a Kinetic w/ Capacitor in there with no issues, but had a hard time organizing the wiring so everything "looked nice."

Anyone have any pics of how they mounted their transponders? I have mine shoegooed to the top of the bumper brace and zip tied to the top deck coming to the RX.

Which is the suspension mount that you change from a single piece to the two separate pieces, 1A or 1C? cant remember And do you only use the titanium turnbuckles at the front or should you get them for the rear aswell?
thanks

suggest you change the suspension pin mounts in the front 1st, 1C/XC (though i've changed both FR and RF in mine).

For the turnbuckles, change them all (camber and steering)... the blue aluminum ones don't like hitting the boards much...

I searched and searched for the OP where you recommend changing the suspension pin mounts and cannot find it. What advantage do you see in changing from the single piece suspension pin mounts to the two piece mounts? Is the chassis already drilled for this?

Thanks

the reason i changed was because i seriously bent the stock one after a bad crash... just feel the split type pin mounts are sturdier and more resistant to getting bent. i also tend to think that it gives a bit more flex to the chassis for more traction (but that's just me and i'm not sure if there's any truth to it).

this is the part you're looking for (separate suspension mounts):

yes, the chassis already has the holes drilled.

I use those in my 416 and the car felt like it had more steering at my tracks

Cool. Thanks.

I already have some for my TA-05 v2 so this will be an easy thing to do if I bend one.
