Moving the motor inwards makes the direction change much sharper. The different top deck increases overall grip and improves the way the car turns in. I really like the smokem conversion, it's cheaper and more elegant than the raceberry set and maintains the 417 belts and centre shaft

Hope I'm not missing anything obvious, but are there any US shops that sell the Smokem stuff? Or does Somkem sell directly? This V7 kit is piquing my curiosity....

I'm having issues with traction roll. I have a high roll center setting running 32.5wt shock oil with hpi silvers in front and hpi blues in rear with no roll bars in front and rear and ride hight set at 5.5 with 3 degree of tow in the rear. Any suggestions would putting the roll bars back on would this help the car from not traction roll. Btw I'm running 17.5 blinky on a med/high traction asphalt track.

Disclaimer: I've never owned/driven a Tamiya.

That being said, that setup sounds like a recipe for traction roll. No sways with soft springs will let the car roll a lot. High roll centers will make the inside lift up more. Soft shock oil will let the car cut in hard and generate a lot of rolling momentum. Do you also have a lot of droop?

No ruining 5mm in front and 4mm in rear. I think ima try the car with the sway bars on if not ima prob just go back to a longer link so lower roll center see if that helps. Also I'm running sweep 32's prob if I go to 36's I think it might help.
