I tried the Tune up and Roche cups they are a vast improvement over the original. Roche cups are quite short and fit the 46 only but clear perfectly with suspension movement. Tune up cups are long like the originals and fit the 44. Naturally they bind with the 46 under compression.

I think the 44 definitely drives nicer than the 46, and the Tune up cups are made from very long lasting material. I bent the mounting pins slightly to remove the slack. 3 months in, racing 2 or 3 times per week there is minimal slack, my car drives super consistent, and no retirements due to failure. I'm extremely pleased with this product and would regard it as an essential upgrade. One less thing to worry about.

Got mine here. Use Tamiya AW grease.

Correct, the 44 won't be long enough to go into the cup

Ok thanks.

Have you got a reference for the 46 mm ? I only saw a ta05 kit with aw grease etc...

Can i still use the 46 with the stock delrin spool exit ?

What are the current part numbers for the 417 belts? and do the ta05 belts fit?

just flipped the diffs in the 417 to try tomorrow, and I had to machine away some of the front bulkhead caps to clear the outdrives on the spool. wtf?

running the diffs/spool in the higher position changes the drive shaft angle and changes the roll charactoristrics etc and something I have been wanting to try.
