Hey Adam, is it your car sporting the Novak decals? If so we should do some profile swaps.

Also how are the JACO blue tires holding out, rubber wise and rim wise? I'm not a fan of the dish wheels, so I'm curious if they are cracking like the old dish wheels used to on the inside.

Good luck.

My car is Novak free. I have a feeling I'll be putting an sxx-ss v2 in soon, though. No more light switch.

The wheel is a yokomo wheel, and I think it's been great. The tires seem okay. Most guys think they're fastest on the first run.

I ran my car with the long arms in open practice and not only did it not traction roll, but I did my best laps of the week on a track that was used for oval, figure 8 and lights out racing last night. I think I'm going to start working on a long arm setup when I get home. Everybody else runs their cars near 190mm and they seem to be plenty fast. I'm over it.

As for me, my car has traction rolled off the track every run since the end of the first day. I've tried every suggestion imaginable. I'm basically giving up and putting the long arms on the car in hopes of finishing a race.
You sure it's 500k diff oil up front?

Thanks.

Thanks.
I can't speak for Jilles or the Tamiya, but 500k is what we use at my local track, when using geardiff up front, and it is working great!

so the following equation is not the best way to prepare for TITC...

Me + 5.5T + boost + wiggle bit that you can straight line if you do it right + getting it wrong, big style = end over end + Sudden stop via metal post = 1 S-shapped 1E block and a 3meeting old chassis plate missing a rear corner

oops! Thankfully market has them in stock... think I'll rebuild the car, and wait till I get to TITC now

Anyone know if the Spec R 37T gear diff fits the 417? I heard the bulkheads are closer together on the 417 compared to 416.
