Ok so here is my build was pretty easy to put together and everything fit nicelly the only thing I did not like was that I had to cut down my own sway bar ball cups not a big deal but was a pain everything else was good ,loved the packageing and the way every thing was layed out good job tamiya.

its the xenon vss i had some for my tcx so i put it on to try it fits good .

Hot Bodies repackages the Xenon VSS spurs! I wish I would have known before I ordered from HK. You can get them from amainhobbies.com.

I just checked much hobby and they have them to but only 111.. but the tamyia ones are alot cheaper everywhere there like $3 bucks and from what i read there good spur gears cant go wrong either way .

My centre pulley and ball diff outdrives are pretty worn up and I wonder when are these 2 items will be made available? Any idea any1?

I'm not sure you'll be able to easily run 17.5 unboost with this car the way the motor screws are positioned now. Tightening the screw closest to the rear is nearly impossible with a small(ish) spur and large pinion without taking the damn center pulley out. I guess I'll be running the 416X in unboosted 17.5 and the 417 in boosted at Snowbirds. No way I want to disassemble the car every round to change pinion gears.

It's not too bad .. sure you have to take the top deck out but you don't have to completely remove the center layshaft. I've been running a 95 spur for the past 3 weeks.

Speedtech spurs will fit the car but they don't have holes to access the motor screws.
