I just wanted to try this set up first before I spend $550 on another car. Tamiya is doing something that's been done a long time ago. When I ran a TRF414M back in the day, I used similar shocks from my MR4TC with bleeder tops and TA04 front and rear gear diffs. I think my TA04 gear diffs had metal bevel gears inside too.
New Smokem 417FX chassis and Smokem 417CTR servo mount ordered.

Interesting and somehow funny . And you find you have lot's of grip, so that kind of shocks may be a good thing after all. I never liked that rebound idea anyway.
Would you mind posting a setup sheet?

What would people change on this setup to get the rear end to be a bit more stable and have a little more general rear end grip. It has lots of steering which i need to keep as the tracks i race on are very tight.
Thanks
