I have this mount on my car and it was tapped out and not bent

Blimey! Enjoy yourself out there bud. I'd recommend onroad, I've become hooked on it (Again). The 417 is such a quick car, I've really enjoyed racing it.

Hello,

does anyone know what parts are needed to convert the 417 to the 417v5?

They certainly are, bought from their store many times, they just seem to be out of stock on a number of parts. Maybe they are waiting for the new car before they do an inventory refil.

Will the new servo mount be a direct swap to the existing 417X chassis, or is it a different hole pattern?

It wont fit. The hole pattern looks the same but it has an additional pin at the front which there is no hole for on the X chassis

lol welcome to inflation and the weak dollar.

Correction, the MSRP went up on the car according to RC Champ:
83,790yen ⇒ sale price 50,274yen = $636.86
with the intl transfer fee and S/h we are looking at a $700 car
