Look on a photo of Elliot Harper car on Kentech blog and the lower deck has no holes is it for high grip and how the servo is fixed on the deck?

Drove the 417x around the outdoor track today for the first time, and the car was amazing right out of the box with reflex racing springs. But, coming onto the straight I hit a turtleshell going a bit too fast, and ended up on my lid and went ass first right into the concrete wall. The car seems to drive ok, but I think I might of bent the upper bulkheads... on top of that, I scratched the HELL out of the shock caps and shock collars. Can anybody point me to where these pieces are sold? I can't find anybody who stocks them.

Upper bulkheads
Shock caps
Shock collars

Had an opportunity to run the Exotek soft chassis plate and extra flex top deck on my 417 and it was night and day difference between it and the stock chassis and upper deck.

I didn't cut the motor mount yet i wanted to try it without cutting it to see and the car is literally glued to the track. It was also very very easy on my tires i ran the same set all day (and they were already used!!) without issue i noticed no appreciable change. I rotated my tires after every run.

Not only that but i didn't get the rubbies on my chassis, i dunno why but in my old age i like a nice clean chassis =D hahaha.

I had some battery tape issue in the main so i'm looking at that screw down batter holder to fix that. I also wasn't running timing and boost and turbo weren't working on my motor guys were literally half a straight faster than me ... until we got to the infield then it was like a shark eating tuna. Man i love this car!

use tape... a battery hold down strap will limit flex, and will tweak the car.

Ill have to take a look directly at Tamiya's site... I buy lots of stuff from Speedtech
(edit:.. their site isn't hard to use, tamiya's part #s are just hard to figure out. All I have to go by is the manual, and sometimes parts span across multiple platforms which can make finding parts difficult... I didn't mean for this post to sound negaive, and I can't stress this enough... you can't beat speedtech's selection, price, and service... A+)
