Some parts can be used, some not. Check with your dealer or someone at your local race track if you are unsure.

You can use all the plastic parts, diff and spool.
The chassis, bulkheads, belts and motormount are different.

I am loving the new 417x. We are on medium grip carpet and the car is really nice to drive. Chassis flex was a non issue. This car has and always will excel outdoors on the asphalt. I have an exotek chassis coming so I will try that out next race day and report back.

I ran my 417 back to back to compare and same laptimes and same consistancy. I wouldn't upgrade if you have a 417 but for everyone else who doesn't have a blue car well they are just going slower

For 417 because the blades do not work very well for mod.

Two questions:

> could someone explain the whole long arm \ sort arm thing?

> what TCS legal bodies will fit the 417?

And I'm assuming you're running a gear diff too, yes?

I went from destroying blades in 1 or 2 Mod races to now blades lasting 6+ Mod race meetings where a bloke only 1 on one side... replaced that side and the other is still going strong (8 meetings and counting)...

How? What did you do? Did you do the Dremel + Yokomo / Asso blades mod?
