Ride springs are good too, less aggressive than HPI but more stability so maybe the go for high bite asphalt or low bite carpet. They are the same as MR33

mr33 come in a nice blue to go with car or you can get them in black

just sharing... "repairing" notched diff outdrives (gear, ball):

1. add a blob of epoxy over the notches
2. let it harden overnight.
3. sand/dremel the blob flat so only the notch is filled.
4. sand the slots with 1200 or finer sandpaper to smoothen it
5. (i also take the "edge" out of the slots with a dremel"

pic attached is an outdrive for a mini but i've done the same to my SpecR and Tamiya white gear diff.

Yes I've already acknowledge my original comment was in reply to my views on asphalt tracks and I didn't take into consideration what is used on carpet.

they work perfect for onroad too! i am using them on my 417x and after 6 packs it still retains smooth motion and leak free and i did not use green slime! i use 70 durometer with trf 40 mineral shock oil

i meant you i used them in my onroad shocks even though they are meant for offroad! i believe you can use the Spec R x ring with tamiya gear diff? i have some on order and will let you know when i install it
