Default Technical Drawing Chassis Plate

Hi Guys
Im planning to build some chassis plates for the 417. I want to test different sort of carbon fibre as well as different shapes of the chassis as I think the flex characteristics of the car are a major key.
Now I have the question if anybody of you has ever measured the chassis palt eout, so you could give me the dimensions of the screw holes etc. Maybe anyone having a technical Drawing of the Chassis plate?
Thanks a lot
Greetings Alex

Yes, looks like Tamiya went back to the box size that will fit the fully built kit with a body on top of it for easy transport...much better than the original 417 box.

Hey guys looking at getting some spare arms, when I go under speedtech's site they have a couple different ones listed for the 417. Which ones are the correct set?? Also is speedtech the only site to get 417 parts??

Yes it's the big box again.
I believe the 417 in Japan also came in this box but they used the small box for export to save on shipping costs.

thanks, did you try to fit it, and where does it hit, as i saw the body on a tt01 kit, and it fit that chassis, which does not have the ifs suspension, so assuemed it would fit the 417, but not sure, if you can le tme know if you tried it and where it hit,. thanks

The TT-01 shock tower is flatter and lower than the 417 shock tower, it's going to touch the bonnet/hood of the body.

Hi all,
I dont know if its the best place to post this, but I'm gonna be new for the next season in France on the blinky mode, with a 10.5 motor.

I would like to know the "things to know" about this mode : gearing, supsension and geometric setting, or even, driving tips.

Last season, I was running 10.5 boosted, so, almost as quick as mod class, so, the setup, gearing etc was the same as mod class setting.

I run the most on an medium grip asphalt and small track.

Thanks in advance !

Actually, it does fit. At least on the 417. Most bodies designed for the IFS chassis' won't fit, but the HSV does.
