I tryed spec-r and maybe works best, but not for a long time, maybe 4 mains.

I'll try to test 3.5mm spec-r for yokomo, making diff cups for this.

Anyone who solved wearing in drive shaft blades?

Thanks!!
Use the Tamiya diff...

Other than that, you answered your own question. If the diff cups are bad, then they will eat the blades, even if there is only a little bit of wear. This will happen regardless of the size of blades.
Changing worn out blades is the best thing to stay on top of. If they are looking thin, then change them regardless... they are there to protect the driveline, so consider them consumables!
Spec-R do have some newer outdrives out, and I've also tried the Spec-R blades as well (I now have a good stock of Tamiya and Spec-R blades, hehe), but the biggest thing is to make sure the outdrives are in a good condition. I'll generally get over 10 runs with a modified out of a set of blades.

HiH

where's a good place to get the tammy diff? I decided to give my 416x a run today after a year on the shelf (on display, with it's trophies lol) and the spec r diff had dropped it's guts everywhere

I think they ship internationally for a reasonable price.

Hi guys,

A little update on my (past) problem with the vibrations in the front. As mentioned previously, I removed the problem by using Litemodz CVS's in the front. Well, I am having trouble with the durability, so tonight I decided to give my previous stock Tamiya CVD's a go one more time.

My servosaver was getting tired, so I replaced that. And when that was replaced, I put it on the track, and the problem with vibrations was gone!

So I am back to using the stock CVD's until Tamiya launches their DCJ's!
