I hope they do release it in Dec...... We need to try it out before any major race, eg. TITC 2011!

Sold the 416 so can't make it a complete collection. Anyway looking forward to the 417 as the ultimate challenger...

Yes Japan releases it on 18th Dec and normally HKG folks might get it within a week from then but not us here in Malaysia/Singapore....

Was told by local distributor that they expect it early Dec but we shall see then...

How do you know if any Tamiya product is made in Japan or China.

I always thought it was Japan too.

I've never seen any Tamiya stuff come out of China though. They do have some production outside of Japan (Phillipines is one).
