I still have a few 2.5 mm chassis left you can email me at red_mosquito7@rocketmail.com for more information.

If guys are interested in the the 2mm version let me know as well, if I can get enough pre orders I will get another run cut.

The attached pic is the 2.5mm chassis.

Default top rebel 1/12

question?how much difference is there between a 17.5 setup and a 13.5
what i have now is

front spring associated 20.
top black sides just touching
copper center w/50 wt oil
battery all the way back
ulti's xh front/xm rear
1.5 camber/6 caster/10 deg reactive
level front and rear at least 3.2-3.4 ride height

on my 13.5 i don't have enough steering i would have to let off to make sharp turns but the 17.5 is ok and not that much slower.what am i doing wrong
thanks

I would go thicker on the side tubes. it will free the car up all around.

Where in the corner is it lacking steering?

How much of the front tire are you doping? I know folks have had success with the xh fronts in 13.5 in the past, myself included, but they do lack a bit of steering compared to using a blue or magenta front. Good thing about xh front is that it is wicked easy to drive, even when the bite is high.

I don't know that I agree with the damper tube change. I would think about where in the corner it is lacking steering and then look at caster and/or front tire. Just my thoughts.

lack of steering seems at the beginning i would have to let off sooner to make the turn tighter or it would push out through the turn.
i thought of getting the rear inserts from ulti for the rear tires suppose to give more steering also i have a new chassis red mosquito on the way.well see what happens this weekend..

Hey there!

I bought me a Rebel 12 (not the new one) and I am also reading here from first page about everything.
I would like to know what the different is between flat Servo and the original way to Mount it? Is there a different driving the Car?
More or less I have it in the original way, just a different Setup.
First Race was ok, but it is to aggressiv in the front.
In march is the german Championship and I want to race it in 10.5 blinky.

Lay the servo flat and put the front upper in the middle hole (5).. Those changes will calm the car way down

Thanks a lot! Now with the servo flat, I put the Speedo and RX a different way. The next days I will shortening the wires. It looks pretty good after that. I love that car.

Rear inserts might help, but I find those to be more of an 'icing on the cake' type of change. If you think the car is lacking quite a bit at a specific part of the corner, you could always try changing caster to match. In this case, reduce caster to gain more initial steering. I personally think 6 degrees is quite a lot of caster, especially so if you run in high grip.

Step one is finished.
Servo lay down, wire in the back is short.
