If anyone is looking for a new chassis for their Top Rebel 12, I have 2mm and 2.5 mm solid chassis in stock.

Check out my thread here Red Mosquito Racing products

Thanks!

Use the smallest spur you can get (71 to 74 tooth). And, depending upon track size, shoot for an 85 to 90 mm rollout and adjust for motor temp and lap time dropoff from there. This is assuming it's 13.5 blinky..

Just ordered my kit and all the tuning parts. I hope this isn't on a slow boat from China!! Can't wait. Never been this pumped for a pan car, LOL. I am sure I will be keeping this thread alive with questions, etc.

Before you start your build go thru the manual and make a list for the repalcement screws. The original screws are really soft and you dont want to strip one when you least expect it. Your local hardware store should have most of the stainless steel screws.

OK so I'm really embarrassed to ask but how does a person adjust rear ride height?

adding or subtracting shims under each of the 4 screws that hold down the plastic end cups of the rear axle tube. Adding shims under the plastic pieces raises the axle tube and will yield lower ride height (for larger tires). Taking shims out lowers the tube and increases ride height (for smaller tires).
