Interesting looking car, but where can you buy one and get parts?
Not at Tower, Stormer, Speedtech, Ampdraw, A-Main, Horizon, LHS, TOP's own site, etc. Not out of stock, but don't even carry it.

Update from the Halloween Classic ..

Larry Fairtrace TQ and Wins 13.5 boosted 1/12

Mike Hanulec sets the fastest "real" lap in 1/12 stock Amain (before blowing out of 3rd pace in attempt to catch back up to the leaders)

First time 1/12 races do well with the Rebel 12 - Arvin Nano in the B-main and Mike Larcher in the stock C-main

Default Hi

I didn't see these optional spacers in any setups

Do you TOP guys ever use them and how thick are all three of them for both?

Thank you

Thanks FJ.

I love my Rebel. Its just unbelievable .

I checked over the setup on Fj's wiki and it looks just about perfect.

We were not using the optional spacers. Putting the lowered arms on the car flattened out the upper link because it lowered the outer part of the upper arm.

Default Steering problem

What is the best way to get less steering (slow coming out of corner on power) and more steering (high speed off power going into corner)
Car spins out coming out of the corner on power and wont turn in off power going into corner
Car has kit setup appart from blue side springs(crc)about 0.2mm above the links, blue centre spring (crc)
30000 damper lube associated 35 oil in centre shock , upper arm mount position is in the upper position , 4mm spacer under rear of shock mount
and no droop in the rear 0 deg camber on front wheels
32 shore rears and 40 shore fronts
This is a very low traction track
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Obviously there is a general lack of mechanical grip on a low traction track.

So if you're running magenta type 32 rear tires, you might want to try Yellow instead, this is a Synthetic tire, and with some outdoor tracks it will have a lot more grip than a magenta or pink.
Black front tires may help with turn in as well.

I'm sure there is some tuning that could help, like less caster, more droop, soft side damping & springs and such.
But tires can make a huge difference, with minimal tuning.

I don't think this will come across as spammy, so here you go.

Stormer Hobbies will be carrying the parts (every last part). We started with the cars, parts should be trickling in.

I personally like the car, and that's how that all happened. I suspect you'll see me at a few onroad races this winter with a Rebel. So we'll definitely be carrying parts. ...lol...

Looks like were also stocking the rebel 10 and the oval car. I think when I talked to Mike, I decided we'd wait for the newer Photon before doing more with the TOP touring stuff. Likely get the parts that crossover though, so we'd have those ahead of time.

Fairtrace,
you running the 10th car? I'm willing to give one a shot. Fun to be different, and it would seem they can haul the mail, so that helps.

Thats great news Bob. Should help get the car out there more.

I have not run the WGT car, I may get one soon to give a try but I have my hands full with TC and 12th scale at bigger races. The WGT might just be fun to run at our local track to put down traction.

Ej's was pretty good at the IIC for never running it on carpet before.
